At Flint Church of Christ, you’ll find a welcoming church family committed to growing in faith, serving others, and reflecting God’s love. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or searching for a church home, we invite you to get to know us and plan a visit.
Our worship services are on Sundays at 7:45am, 10:00am & 5:00pm. On the second Sunday of each month we have an early 1PM service instead of our 5PM evening service.
Bible study is at 9:00am on Sundays and 7:00pm on Wednesdays. We’d love to have you join us!
On a typical Sunday, we begin with an early morning worship service at 7:45 AM for those who prefer to worship earlier in the day. At 9:00 AM, we offer Bible classes for kids, teens, and adults. Then at 10:00 AM, we gather in the auditorium for our main worship service, where we sing, pray, and study God’s Word together.
“Church of Christ” refers to a group of Christians that seek to follow the teachings and practices found in the New Testament as closely as possible. Our focus is on being part of the church that Jesus established, rather than following man-made traditions or denominations. We’re dedicated to living out the faith as outlined in Scripture and welcoming everyone to join us in this commitment.
Getting more connected with our church is easy! You can start by joining us for our Sunday worship and Bible class. We also have various groups and activities throughout the year where you can meet others and get involved. If you still aren’t sure, feel free to set up a Bible Study with one of our members or visit our welcome area in our lobby.
The Lord’s Supper is a way for Christians to remember and honor Jesus’s sacrifice. Every Sunday, we share bread and fruit of the vine as Jesus instructed, symbolizing His body and blood given for us. It’s a weekly reminder of His love and the incredible sacrifice He made for our salvation.
We don’t use instruments during worship because we aim to follow the principle of authority that is central to the Bible. From the beginning, God has emphasized the importance of acting according to His will, rather than our ideas. In Colossians 3:17, Paul instructs us to do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, meaning we should act only with his approval. Just as God was specific about how sacrifices were to be made in the Old Testament, the New Testament directs us to worship through singing, not playing instruments (Colossians 3:16; Ephesians 5:19). So, we strive to respect this guidance and worship in a way that aligns with the authority of Christ.
Becoming a Christian is about understanding a few key things rather than knowing every detail of the Bible. First, you need to recognize that everyone has sinned and needs forgiveness (Romans 3:10, 23; 1 John 1:8). Second, you should know that Jesus is the Son of God who died and was resurrected to save us from our sins (Luke 19:10; John 3:16; Romans 5:6-8). Finally, you need to be ready to take action by believing in Jesus (John 8:24), repenting of your sins (Luke 13:3, 5), confessing Him as Lord (Romans 10:10), and being baptized for the remission of your sins (Acts 2:38). You don’t need to know everything before you start—just these essential steps. After becoming a Christian, you'll continue to grow and learn more about your faith (2 Peter 3:18; Hebrews 5:12; 1 Peter 3:15).

Visiting a new church can feel a bit unfamiliar, but we’re here to help make your experience as smooth as possible. Let us know when you’re coming and if you have any questions, so we can make sure you feel welcomed!

Flint Church of Christ is blessed with dedicated and humble servants of Christ who embody the spirit of love and service. Get to know them!

The Flint Church of Christ affirms the glorious perfection of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:13-17; 28:18-20). We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, given for teaching, correction, and instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). We affirm that there is one God and one Mediator, Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 2:5)
We believe in one body, one faith, one baptism, and that all will stand before Christ in judgement (Ephesians 4:4-6; 2 Corinthians 5:10). Salvation is by grace through faith, and baptism into Christ is for the remission of sins (Ephesians 2:1-10; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:1-6).
We affirm that the greatest command is to love God and love others (Matthew 22:34-40; John 13:34-35).
We affirm that life is given by God, is precious, and begins at conception. We believe God created humanity male and female, ordained marriage between a man and a woman, and has provided a biblical pattern for life and worship found in Scripture. Man-made doctrines are rejected.
We’re here to support you in any way we can. Your well-being and spiritual growth are important to us, and we’re eager to help.
If you are in need of prayer, we invite you to share your request with us. Our church family is dedicated to praying for one another and seeking God’s guidance, comfort, and healing in every situation.
Are you interested in deepening your understanding of God's word? Are you ready to take the next step in your faith? We would be honored to open the Bible with you and grow together in His Word.
